This interactive, Web-based program includes animate...d illustrations, videos, voice-overs and games, and allows expectant mothers and their labor partners to take an independent, self-paced course from the convenience of home. It is an excellent option for those on bed rest or who cannot attend another program.
Within 3 business days after you register for this class, an email will be sent to you, which will include your access code and the link to the online class.
Keep in mind, once you log in, your access code will only be valid for 90 days. In addition, participants are encouraged to complete the program four weeks prior to their due dates.
As you review the program, questions may arise. Please write them down in the notes icon located at the bottom of your e-learning screen so that you can share them at your next visit with your medical provider.
PLEASE NOTE: This online course does not involve interaction with an instructor and does not include a tour of Ridgeview’s birthing rooms. Please call (952) 442-8083 to schedule a tour of our Birthing Center. Once you have registered for this course, you would not receive a refund should you need to cancel.

The refresher class provides parents with a review an...d update of birthing procedures. You will be given The Gift of Motherhood, a childbirth education guidebook, at class. This one-session class includes breathing and relaxation review, delivery update, sibling preparation, and an optional birthing room and nursery tour.
Please bring 2 pillows & 1 blanket.
You are encouraged to bring your own snacks and beverages or you may make purchases in our cafeteria or from vending machines.
If you are interested in a Childbirth Refresher class, please call Ridgeview Community Relations at 952-442-8083. Ridgeview will work with you to schedule a session. Note: Please call early as a minimum of three couples is needed to hold a session.

Ridgeview Medical Center offers a variety of CPR trai...ning, including Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, required by health care and dental professionals; and Heartsaver CPR AED and Heartsaver CPR AED 1st Aid, for the general public and child care providers. Led by certified instructors (primarily nurses, EMTs, paramedics and fire department members), the trainings are held at Ridgeview Medical Center and off-site, at locations including child care centers, schools and churches. Pricing varies depending on the type of training and number of people being trained.

You will have exposure to Ridgeview athletic trainers with master's degrees in exercise physiology and experience playing college hockey and working with Division I hockey programs. Ridgeview's program will help your student-athlete get faster, stronger and more agile. Professional programming, 1:10-12 student-to-staff ratio and experienced supervision will ensure that they are using proper technique.
Registration fee increases to $200.00 if not paid by April 30th.
Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays. No class Wednesday, July 3.

Sportmetrics is the first ACL Injury Prevention Prog...ram that is scientifically proven to decrease serious knee injuries and improve speed, agility and conditioning. Our Sportsmetrics-certified staff athletic trainers will get your kids on the right track, learning how to condition properly, focus on technique and prepare for their upcoming sports season. Consistent training is necessary to maintain the benefit of ACL prevention.
